Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• California State Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Board preferred in California and Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Pull medications from stock and match them with corresponding labels generated by the pharmacist.
• Maintain accurate stock levels, ensuring timely restocking and removal of expired medications.
• Price and stock incoming deliveries, notifying pharmacists of out-of-stock medications.
• Restock returned medications and maintain controlled-drug medication records.
• Assist in the filling of patient prescriptions and prepare unit-dose medications.
• Support maintaining accurate patient information in the pharmacy computer database.
• Assist with billing, claims, and other related technical and clerical tasks as needed.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
