Qualifications

• Pharm.D. degree from an accredited institution.
• California pharmacist license or ability to obtain prior start.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred; travel pharmacy experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and verify accuracy of orders.
• Provide medication therapy management (MTM) and counseling to customers.
• Respond to inquiries and guide proper medication use and potential drug interactions.
• Administer immunizations and conduct basic health screenings.
• Monitor inventory, place orders, and ensure proper storage of medications.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (HIPAA, safety, documentation).
• Rotate through Rite Aid locations to support staffing needs during travel.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Assist in training of pharmacy staff and provide leadership during rotations.
