Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks a Travel Pharmacist for Day shift, 7 on/7 off, 13 weeks, on-site in Bullhead City, AZ. Hours 9:30am–8:00pm Wed–Tue.

Full-time contract with requirement to live within 50 miles of Bullhead City and an AZ pharmacist license. Responsibilities include accurate dispensing, patient counseling, adverse event reporting, HIPAA compliance, inventory management, and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in the applicable state with no disciplinary actions.
• Hospital/consultant pharmacy dispensing and patient counseling experience.
• Strong HIPAA/PHI data privacy practices.
• Experience with inventory management and medication procurement.
• Ability to work day shifts on a 7-on/7-off schedule on-site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate dispensing of medications and patient safety on shift.
• Counsel patients on usage, dosing and side effects.
• Document adverse drug events and near-misses promptly.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and quality metrics.
• Maintain patient profiles and HIPAA/PHI compliance.
• Manage medication inventory and replenishment orders.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize therapy.

Experience/Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in the applicable state with no disciplinary actions.

• Strong attention to medication safety, adverse events reporting, and near-miss documentation.


• Experience with inventory management and medication procurement processes.


• Ability to work day shift on a 7-on/7-off schedule with on-site presence.


• Mechanical/clinical accuracy in building and maintaining patient medication profiles.


• Collaboration skills to support multidisciplinary teams and pharmacotherapy optimization.
