Job Summary:
Pharmacist Inpatient in a healthcare setting located in Kansas. This position involves providing inpatient pharmacy services with a focus on adult, pediatric, neonatal, and geriatric patient populations. The role requires handling a daily census of approximately 100 patients, containing duties related to medication preparation, administration, and monitoring in accordance with hospital protocols. The position is scheduled for day shifts, typically 8 hours per day, with a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week, and spans from October 5, 2026, to January 4, 2027.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Kansas (KS) or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, valid allied health license if applicable, 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience, and certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD), and Registered Pharmacist (RPh) licensure in hand at time of submission
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with community hospital patient care, trauma level I or II experience, and familiarity with electronic charting systems such as Epic
• Float: Float rotation may be required, travelers will receive brief orientation on the unit
• Additional Information:
  • Involves handling anticoagulation therapy, high-alert medications, sterile techniques, inpatient and acute care medication management, and pediatric dosing.
  • Modules are completed onsite during orientation and are recorded via transcripts.
  • The daily census is approximately 100 patients, with support from interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
  • All licenses must be submitted in hand at the time of application.
