Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds-RRT) for a travel assignment in Aurora, Colorado. The role requires 1 year of acute care experience, NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS, with PALS/NRP may be needed in some areas.

14-week duration, 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts. You will provide direct patient care across clinical areas, perform respiratory and cardiology therapies, maintain records, operate and calibrate equipment, and collaborate with nurses and physicians

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent acute care experience required.
• NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
• Peds-RRT travel assignment in Aurora, CO.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across clinical areas per guidelines.
• Perform respiratory and cardiology therapies as ordered.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.
• Operate, disinfect, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment; report malfunctions.
• Communicate with nurses, physicians and staff to ensure continuum of care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
