Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (Peds-RRT) for a travel assignment in Denver, CO. This role provides direct patient care across pediatric areas following established procedures.

The ideal candidate has NBRC-RRT, BLS, ACLS, and at least 1 year of acute care experience; PALS and NRP may be required in some locations. The position offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts with tax‑free stipends.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience.
• NBRC-RRT, BLS and ACLS required; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients across clinical areas per procedural guidelines.
• Maintain and document patient records accurately.
• Calibrate, maintain and disinfect respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples per guidelines.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and other hospital staff to optimize continuum of care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
