TotalMed Allied is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Lawton, Oklahoma. The position requires NBRC-RRT certification with BLS and ACLS, and may require PALS/NRP in some locations.

The 13-week assignment entails 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, with travel benefits. The pediatric travel therapist will provide direct patient care across clinical areas, perform arterial sampling, document care, and maintain equipment.

Qualifikationen

• Pediatric Respiratory Therapist with NBRC-RRT and required certifications (BLS/ACLS; PALS/NRP may be required).
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience in a travel position.

Aufgaben

• Administer respiratory and cardiology therapies per guidelines.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.
• Clean, calibrate and maintain respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and sample analysis per procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
