Job description

We are currently seeking a Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at Falcon School District, Colorado. This is a full-time position for the upcoming school year. The SLPA will primarily work with students in Elementary and Middle schools, with a possibility of also supporting PreK students. The candidate will provide assistance to Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) at each site, focusing on 1:1 sessions and supporting the delivery of services.

• Full Time
• 23 / 24 School Year
• Onsite

Requirements:

• Assist in the implementation of speech and language therapy programs under the supervision of SLPs.
• Collaborate with SLPs to support students' individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals.
• Split caseload between Elm (4 days) and Middle (1 day), with the potential for involvement in PreK settings.
• No direct caseload management; focus on supporting SLPs and providing 1:1 services.
• Provide push-in services for preschool students.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students for service minutes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team of professionals.
• Reliable and dedicated to providing high-quality support to students.
