Job Summary

Speech Language Pathologist Pediatrics (SLP PEDS) position located in the region. This role involves providing specialized speech and language therapy services to pediatric patients in acute care or outpatient settings. The position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support developmental and communication needs of pediatric patients.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CA state licensure in hand, minimum of 2 years of experience including at least 1 year of hospital experience, and certifications in BLS and CCC-SLP.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in children's hospitals, pediatric outpatient clinics, pediatric rehabilitation facilities, and PICU settings.
• Additional Information: Must have experience with pediatric assessment, augmentative and alternative communication devices, assessments such as CELF and PLS-4, and familiarity with pediatric and neonatal populations. Ability to conduct modified barium swallow studies, develop and implement plans of care, and work with diverse age groups including adolescents and infants. Accurate charting using Epic or similar systems is required.
