Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist (Inpatient) Location: Sacramento County, CA. This role involves providing assessment, treatment, and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. The position requires collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and adherence to all relevant regulations.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, CA Speech-Language Pathologist License, Valid CA State Drivers License, Auto Insurance
• Education Requirements: Current CA SLP License
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years
• Location Requirements: Must have valid CA licensure with Nursys documentation uploaded within the last 2 weeks
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Additional Responsibilities: Provides patient and family education on signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, psychological abuse; may assist with clinical supervision of assistants and serve as clinical instructor for students
• Experience with Home Health Care, patient and family education, and recognition of abuse signs is preferred
• Clinical experience with adult and geriatric patient populations is required
• Candidates must complete all onboarding modules within specified timeframes and provide work history documentation for the past 7 years
• RTO Policy: Max 7 days per contract; holidays include New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
• Candidates should prepare to complete all compliance documentation 10 days prior to the start date

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
