Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in West Reading, PA. The Peds-RRT will provide direct patient care in various clinical areas and support respiratory therapies during 12-hour night shifts.

Must have NBRC-RRT, BLS, ACLS; 1 year of acute care experience required. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas. Travel duties include documentation and equipment maintenance, with a patient-focused care team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent acute care experience required.
• Peds-RRT requested for immediate travel position.
• Must have NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in various clinical areas per procedural guidelines.
• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
• Calibrate, maintain and evaluate respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and other staff to optimize continuum of care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
