Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in Memphis, TN. The role requires working 36 hours per week, on 12-hour night shifts, within a travel employment type.

The Respiratory Therapist will develop and ensure the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other therapists, while maintaining patient safety and delivering high-quality respiratory care.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current CPR or BCLS certification.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• At least 2 years of experience.

Responsabilités

• Evaluating patient and recommending a treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Performing timely and accurate documentation.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
