Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Pediatric Travel Nurse for a travel nursing assignment in Lubbock, Texas. This role centers on delivering high-quality care to children and adolescents in acute settings, with 12-hour night shifts and a 36-hour work week over a 16-week period.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and current BLS/PALS certifications. Travel benefits include weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate care to pediatric patients.
• Help patients be comfortable during examinations and procedures.
• Perform physical, medical and diagnostic tests.
• Assess for critical signs and symptoms in pediatric patients.
• Assist treating physicians during examinations, treatments and procedures.
• Provide information, education and support to patients' families.
