Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Pediatric RN for a 16-week travel assignment in Lubbock, TX. The role involves providing comprehensive pediatric nursing care, coordinating treatments, and supporting families through care plans in a fast-paced travel assignment.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of pediatric RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS; PALS/ENPC are required or preferred. Join a dedicated clinical team with competitive pay, benefits, and travel support.

Qualifications

One year of recent experience as a Pediatric RN.
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

Explain procedures and treatments to children and families to foster understanding and reduce fear.
Administer prescribed medications with pediatric dosing considerations.
Prepare pediatric equipment and assist physicians during treatment and examination.
Ensure comfort and safety of pediatric patients while meeting developmental needs.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record.
Collaborate with families to develop and implement care plans for pediatric patients.
