Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Pediatric RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Denver, CO. You will provide high-quality pediatric care across clinical settings, assess patient needs, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and families to ensure safe, family-centered care throughout the patient journey.

Candidates must have one year of pediatric RN experience, an active RN license in good standing, current BLS, and either PALS or ENPC. NRP is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of pediatric RN experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• PALS or ENPC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to children and families in an appropriate manner to foster understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications and consider pediatric-specific dosing and delivery techniques.
• Prepare and manage pediatric-specific equipment, assisting physicians during treatment and examination.
• Ensure the comfort and safety of pediatric patients, incorporating developmental needs.
• Observe patient conditions, document significant changes, and escalate as needed.
• Take vital signs and monitor patient status to detect deviations.
