Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Pediatric RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Denver, CO. The role focuses on age-appropriate pediatric care, medication administration, and family education across clinical settings.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Pediatric RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to children and families to foster understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications with pediatric dosing considerations.
• Prepare pediatric equipment and assist physicians during procedures.
• Ensure comfort and safety of pediatric patients while addressing developmental needs.
• Observe and document patient conditions and respond to changes.
• Take vital signs and monitor patient health trends.
• Respond to life-saving situations per policies and protocols.
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record.
• Develop and implement patient/family education plans.
• Collaborate with families to create care plans for pediatric patients.
• Participate in quality improvement to enhance pediatric care.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
