Cross Country Allied is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Butte, Montana. The RT will provide advanced cardiopulmonary care, serve as a clinical resource, and educate patients and families while contributing to quality and safety initiatives.

The role requires NBRC credentials, RRT license, BLS, and a commitment to 12-hour shifts with 36 hours per week in a travel setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NBRC-accredited program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC.
• Current RRT license in the practicing state; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret diagnostic testing (e.g., ABGs) per protocols.
• Administer medications and manage respiratory therapy plans.
• Troubleshoot respiratory equipment and initiate protocols.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care; document outcomes.
• Educate patients and families; ensure self-care readiness.
• Complete clinical documentation and participate in QA initiatives.
• Support patient safety and participate in departmental projects; on-call may be required.
