Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Boston, MA.

You will provide direct care across pediatric areas, perform assessments and treatments, and collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure quality patient care.

The role requires NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS with at least one year of acute care experience; 13-week duration, 36 hours weekly, 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent acute care experience required.
• NBRC-RRT, BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and NRP may be required.
• Travel assignment in Boston, MA for 13 weeks at 36 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and staff to optimize continuum of care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
