Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Pediatric Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds-RRT) for an immediate travel assignment in Boston, MA. The role is 13 weeks long, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of acute care experience and NBRC-RRT, BLS and ACLS. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas. You will provide direct patient care, perform respiratory/cardiology procedures, maintain records, and coordinate with the care team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of acute care experience as an RRT.
• NBRC-RRT certification required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including evaluation and treatment per procedural guidelines.
• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.
• Clean, calibrate, and maintain respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and other staff to optimize care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
