Expect extensive pediatric respiratory care, patient transport, and treatment evaluation with guidance and minimal supervision. ACLS certification and Hamilton C3 ventilator experience are required, along with the ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Provides invasive and non-invasive ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, nebulizers, suctioning, chest physiotherapy, oximetry, and capnography monitoring.
• Performs respiratory assessments, pulmonary function studies, arterial punctures, tracheostomy care, endotracheal tube insertion and removal, and mechanical ventilation management.
• Assists with bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy, chest tube placement, and other respiratory care procedures.
• Performs 12-lead ECGs and basic arrhythmia recognition; documents treatments and responses; communicates status during handoffs; maintains respiratory care records.

Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist Registered, Pediatric Respiratory Therapy, Pittsburgh. The role provides intensive respiratory care, patient transport, treatment evaluation, and patient education with minimal supervision. Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, ventilator experience using Hamilton C3 equipment, and the ability to work independently are required.

Job Details

• Additional Information:
  • Provides invasive and non-invasive ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, nebulizer treatments, suctioning, chest physiotherapy, oximetry, and capnography monitoring.

  • Performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation according to Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) guidelines.
  • Assignment dates: 11/23/2026 through 02/22/2027.
