Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist - Pediatrics for an outpatient setting. Requires 1+ year pediatric experience and ability to work independently. BLS and CA PT license are required. Position supports travel with housing and licensure reimbursements.

Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8-hour days (0730–1800). No on-call or floating. Epic is used for charting; free parking is provided. Open to first-time travelers with local candidate options within 50 miles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of pediatric physical therapy experience.
• BLS certification required.
• CA PT license required (license required if applicable).
• Must be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient pediatric physical therapy setting.
• Acute care hospital with 212 staffed beds.
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts between 0730 and 1800.
• No on-call requirements.
• No floating required.
• Uses Epic for charting.
• Free parking available.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Candiates may float between sister facilities near the contracted location.
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at applicable local rate.
• Former Providence permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• All RTO must be submitted at time of application and is subject to facility approval.
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs; OR/L&D scrubs provided.
