Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Pediatric Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. This 26-week contract requires a skilled OT to evaluate and develop plans of care for pediatric patients in acute care settings.

Ideally candidates have 1 year of OT experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional cases) and hold BLS and NBCOT-OTR licensure. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, family education, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply.
• NBCOT-OTR licensure with state-specific licensing and BLS required.
• OT should have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, observe tasks, and assess needs.
• Evaluate and create individualized plans of care for pediatric patients.
• Develop treatment plans with specific goals and activities to improve daily living skills.
• Educate patients' families and employers on care and accommodations.
• Record progress and document according to state and insurance guidelines.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation for evaluations and reporting.
