Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Pediatric Operating Room RN for a 13-week assignment in Saint Louis, MO. The role focuses on perioperative patient care, sterile technique, and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure safety and quality.

The position requires 1 year in Pediatric OR RN, active RN license, BLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications; CNOR and other certifications are preferred. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• One year's recent experience as a Pediatric Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS or ENPC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room by ensuring instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are ready.
• Assists in positioning and preparing patients for surgery.
• Maintains a sterile field and follows infection control protocols.
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and notifies the surgeon of changes.
• Documents all perioperative patient care actions accurately.
• Collaborates with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient turnover.
