Pediatric Surgery Registered Nurse (RN) Joplin, Missouri. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the Pediatric Surgical Unit of a healthcare facility. The RN will support pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and fostering effective communication within the multidisciplinary team.

Job Details

• Position: RN Pediatric and Specialty Surgery
• Location: Joplin, Missouri
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: AD or BSN with BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS); must be able to read and communicate effectively in English; basic knowledge of computer and office equipment; 1+ years of experience in a Pediatric Department
• Additional Information: Maintains safe patient environment according to association guidelines. Assists in annual unit duties and precepting new co-workers. Coordinates staffing duties daily. Provides call coverage according to guidelines. Maintains professional relationships among health care teams through effective communication and participation in team problem-solving. Performs duties consistent with facility standards.
• Schedule: Night shift, 3 consecutive days per week, minimum 36 hours weekly.
