Qualifications

Responsibilities

• PICU position in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
• Requires floating to NICU and general pediatric units as needed.
• Care for respiratory distress/failure, DKA, seizures, and pain management.
• Perform moderate sedation, drips, arterial lines, and central venous pressure monitoring.
• Rotate day and night 12-hour shifts (7:00-19:00; 19:30-07:30).

• Manage critically ill pediatric patients and perform advanced procedures.
• Comfortably float between PICU, NICU, and pediatric units as needed.

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position with 2 years of PICU experience and the ability to float to NICU and Peds units.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• Requires floating to NICU and general pediatric units as needed
• Patient population includes cases of respiratory distress or failure, DKA, seizures, and pain management
