Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced PICU RN with at least 2 years of recent pediatric ICU experience and current MA RN license for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work setting is a pediatric intensive care (PICU) unit in an acute care hospital
• Patient population includes critically ill pediatric and adolescent patients
• Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00-07:30)
• Every other weekend coverage is required
• Floating may be required to other ICU units within scope
• Charting is done in Epic
• Position does not require on-call shifts
• Work in a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital with Level III/IV NICU
• Solid color scrubs are required in all units
• Free parking available for night shifts with discounted day and evening options and shuttle service
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this assignment

Requirements

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
• Prior travel nursing experience in PICU is required
