Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Echo Technologist for a travel assignment in Newark, New Jersey. The role requires 1+ year of pediatric echocardiography experience and proficiency in fetal echocardiography, with BLS certification and ARDMS/CCI credentials preferred.

The position features day shifts (8:30 AM–4:30 PM), 37.5 hours per week, travel employment, and utilization of Philips equipment. Local candidates accepted at the same rate; housing stipends may apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of pediatric echocardiography experience.
• Proficiency in pediatric and fetal echocardiography.
• BLS certification required.
• ARDMS RDCS FE, RDCS PE or CCI RCCS preferred.
• License required if applicable; independent work capability.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and fetal echocardiograms in a pediatric unit.
• Conduct diagnostic cardiac studies and maintain patient records.
• Work day shift; 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM; 37.5 hours per week.
• Utilize Philips equipment and Epic charting where applicable.
• Provide on-call coverage for specified winter holidays as needed.
