Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Pediatric Echocardiography specialist for a 13-week assignment in Newark, New Jersey. You will perform 2‑dimensional echoes, M‑mode and Doppler studies under physician supervision, with 40 hours per week on days.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
• Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.
• Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiography technology program (graduate of cardiac echocardiography technology program).

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and perform 2D echoes, M-mode and Doppler.
• Provide preliminary interpretation.
• Maintain echo study records for patients.
• Assist physicians in training residents and fellows.
• Operate and adapt to multiple echocardiography platforms.
