VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool position in Charlottesville, VA. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift schedule in a hospital setting.

Requirements include BLS, NRP, ACLS, PALS, 2 years PICU experience, EPIC familiarity, and VA license in progress. This travel role offers a robust benefits package and ongoing career support.

Qualifications

• BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• 2 years PICU experience and PICU/NICU exposure are required.
• Epic experience and VA license are preferred; must follow UVA float policy.

Responsibilities

• Float to multiple pediatric units including PICU, NICU, Peds MedSurg, Peds PACU, Peds ED, and postpartum units.
• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients across units.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and float guidelines.
• Adhere to block scheduling and assigned shift rotations.
• Maintain current certifications and licenses.
