Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Travel PCU/Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Tucson, AZ. The RN will provide high-quality care for patients requiring progressive care and cardiac telemetry monitoring.

Shift is night, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, with three 12-hour shifts per week and a 36-hour weekly schedule; W-2 employment with optional benefits available.

Qualifications

• Active RN license or eligibility in the assignment state.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Previous PCU/Telemetry experience preferred.
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently with a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, develop care plans and document nursing interventions.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the team.
• Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Perform nursing procedures and tests within RN scope.
• Administer medications per orders and safety policies.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, meds, and self-care.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and timely charting.
• Apply clinical judgment to prioritize patient care.
• Adapt to changing unit priorities while maintaining safety.
