Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is actively seeking a PCU Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Tucson or Phoenix, Arizona. You must be a licensed RN with PCU experience and BLS/ACLS where required by the facility.

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Arizona.
• PCU, progressive care, step-down, or comparable acute care nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, as required by the facility.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to travel to and complete a 13-week assignment in Tucson or Phoenix, Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and care for patients requiring progressive or intermediate-level care.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and facility protocols.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and thoroughly.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and ongoing care needs.
• Maintain compliance with patient safety standards, infection prevention practices, and facility policies.
• Provide compassionate, professional care while supporting a positive patient experience.
