Job summary

DayToDay Health is seeking a Travel Stepdown RN to provide specialized care for patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units. You will monitor cardiac rhythms and vitals, administer treatments, and support patients through critical transitions.

Ideal candidates bring a year of stepdown experience, RN licensure with BLS/ACLS, and strong communication skills. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work under pressure, traveling to multiple facilities as

Qualifications

• Minimum one year recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications; PCCN and NIHSS preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English, PC skills, and ability to perform physical tasks and handle stress.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments, assist with cardiac procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Observe patient conditions, document assessments, and notify physicians of significant changes.
• Respond effectively to cardiac emergencies, following established protocols.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle modifications.
