Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Intermediate Care in Arlington, Virginia. The position requires an RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS & ACLS, and at least eighteen months in a PCU/Step-down setting. Travel assignment spans 13 weeks with a 36-hour week and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Active RN License is required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients who aren't unstable enough to need ICU care.
• Utilize computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information and detect any changes, thereby enabling intervention of life-threatening or emergency situations.
