Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Mechanicsville, Virginia. The assignment runs for 16 weeks with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift. Start date is 10/05/2026.

It is a travel/contract position through a Joint Commission-certified agency. Requirements include an Active RN License, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS & ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Progressive Care Nurses (PCU) monitor patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment.
• Monitor cardiac and other vital signs and intervene as needed.
