Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Travel RN for the Stepdown/PCU in Maryville, Tennessee. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours weekly with 12-hour nights, in a travel capacity.

The PCU RN will monitor cardiac and other vitals, intervene as needed, provide bedside care, manage IVs and medications, and respond quickly to changes in patient status.

ACLS, BLS, NIH, and 1–2 years of acute care experience are preferred, with benefits and weekly pay available through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience as a PCU RN.
• Experience in progressive care/stepdown settings preferred.
• Willingness to travel for assignments and adapt to different facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor vital signs and interpret monitoring equipment.
• Administer and document medications; start IVs and manage lines.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and seek escalation when needed.
