In this role you will provide progressive care, monitor patient conditions, document care, and collaborate with physicians and the care team during fast-moving situations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent PCU nursing experience.
• Active Texas RN License.

Responsibilities

• Manage higher-acuity patients stepping down from intensive care who require close monitoring
• Monitor continuous telemetry and hemodynamic status, recognizing and escalating changes promptly
• Administer medications and IV therapy, including titratable drips approved for the unit, per facility protocol
• Care for patients on high-flow oxygen and non-invasive ventilation when assigned
