Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) telemetry role in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The traveled position requires 2 years of PCU or telemetry experience, BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications, and an active NC or compact license.

Shifts are 12 hours (nights), with 36 hours per week and a 13-week assignment. Travelers must meet the 50-mile radius rule and may float between like units as needed, with premium pay and travel reimbursements offered.

Qualifications

• Active NC or compact RN license required at time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years recent PCU or telemetry nursing experience required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH.
• Must pass EKG exam.
• Pending license not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Night shifts (3x12 hours), 19:00–07:00.
• Patient ratios 1:4–5.
• Must float within scope between like units as needed.
• Travel staff rule: 50-mile radius, no local candidates.
• Block scheduling requests may be considered.
• Supportive team in a large hospital environment.
