Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN for a travel assignment in Thomasville, GA. The travel nurse will care for patients requiring close monitoring, using telemetry and bedside skills on a 12-hour night shift, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week duration.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and current ACLS/BLS certifications. This travel role emphasizes patient monitoring, medication administration, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience is preferred.
• PCU/stepdown nursing experience is a plus.
• Must have current RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor patient status using telemetry and equipment; report changes.
• Administer medications and document responses; titrate as needed.
• Assist with IVs, dressings, and other routine procedures.
