ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Hermitage, Tennessee. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week and a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including every other weekend.

The Critical Care RN in the Progressive Care Unit will provide care to patients with varying acuity, requiring advanced critical thinking and teamwork. Valid RN license with BLS and ACLS is required; experience with cardiac drips, dialysis, and related

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid RN license and hold current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• Experience with EKG rhythm interpretation, cardiac drips, and insulin and heparin management is essential.
• Preferred experience in peritoneal dialysis and tube feedings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients' vital signs in a fast-paced setting.
• Administer cardiac drips, insulin drips, and heparin drips; manage peritoneal dialysis.
• Perform procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, chest tube insertions, and NG tube insertions.
• Practice hourly rounding on days and every 2 hours at night to ensure patient satisfaction.
