Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a Des Moines, IA assignment. The RN will provide care in the Progressive Care Unit, following care plans and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, conducting patient assessments, contributing to discharge planning, and documenting care accurately. The position requires bedside experience and valid BLS/ACLS certifications, with residency near Des Moines.

Qualifications

• Valid BLS certification required before first shift.
• ACLS certification required before first shift (CIRH only).
• Minimum of two years bedside clinical experience.
• Nursing degree; location requirement met by residing in or near Des Moines, IA.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to PCU patients per established care plans.
• Supervise care staff and participate in patient assessments.
• Contribute to discharge planning to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses accurately and promptly.
