Job summary

TotalMed RN currently seeks a travel RN for the PCU (Progressive Care Unit) in Olathe, Kansas. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience and holds ACLS/BLS certifications. The assignment is 14 weeks, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, in a travel role.

The PCU RN will monitor cardiac and other vitals, titrate medications, manage complex patient needs, and provide bedside care in a fast-paced setting. ACLS/BLS renewals and readiness are expected.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Nursing license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Monitor and interpret patient status and administer meds as prescribed.
• Record care data and communicate changes to the team.
• Support IVs, dressings, catheter care and equipment monitoring.
