Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU – Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The PCU RN will care for patients requiring close monitoring, using telemetry to detect changes and intervene when needed.

The role involves 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week assignment with a tax-free stipend potential. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and must hold ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.

Qualifications

• Requires ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIH certification may be required before assignment.
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and document prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data.
