Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Thornton, Colorado. This role is 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift for 13 weeks, with an ASAP start. The PCU RN will monitor cardiac and other vitals, titrate medications, and provide step-down care.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and an active RN license. Perks include weekly pay and benefits from TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; additional certifications may be required.
• Active RN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor and operate monitoring equipment and record vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medications and document reactions.
• Change dressings, start IVs, and manage catheter care as needed.
• Assist in patient assessment and respond to emergencies promptly.
