Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring an active HI RN license and at least 5 years of experience.

13-week assignment with rotating 3x12-hour shifts; first-time travelers are welcome to apply. Must pass on-site EKG test and maintain appropriate certifications such as BLS and ACLS. Flexible benefits and opportunities may be provided.

Qualifications

• Active Hawaii RN license required before start.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS.
• Additional certifications may be considered: PALS, NRP, CPI, ENPC, RNFA, TNCC, AWHONN, STABLE, ASLS, NBSTSA, APHON, CMA, CCMA, RMA, C-EFM.

Responsibilities

• Provide PCU-level nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring.
• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital environment.
• 13-week assignment with rotating 3x12-hour shifts.
• Must be agreeable to work consecutive weekends as needed.
• Support holiday pay rules as described.
