Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for a PCU Telemetry role in St. Louis, MO. This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, with a focus on cardiac telemetry care.

Qualified candidates will have MO or compact RN licensure, 2 years of telemetry/step-down experience, ACLS/BLS, and EPIC charting familiarity. Relias EKG exam, LVAD/telemetry proficiency, and the ability to work every other weekend are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years RN telemetry or step-down experience.
• MO or compact RN license (pending license accepted).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Must pass Relias EKG exam.
• Proficiency with cardiac drips, LVADs, telemetry required.
• EPIC charting experience required for some assignments.
• Home address at least 75 miles from facility; locals not accepted.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Work in the PCU in a short-term acute care facility with cardiac cases.
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30.
• Maintain typical patient ratios 1:3–5.
• Provide advanced cardiac monitoring and titration of cardiac drips.
