Job summary

TotalMed RN in Denton, TX seeks a PCU Travel Nurse (RN) with 1–2 years of acute care experience for a 13-week assignment, 36 hours weekly, on a 12-hour night shift. Start date 09/21/2026.

As a PCU nurse, you will monitor cardiac patients with telemetry, perform bedside care, changes dressings, start IVs, administer meds, and respond to adverse events. ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications are required; additional certs may be required.

This travel role offers weekly pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of acute care experience required.
• PCU/step-down telemetry experience preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications required; additional certs may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, start IVs, and administer medications.
• Monitor equipment and interpret telemetry displays.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and initiate action.
