Job summary

TotalMed RN in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a Travel PCU RN for a 13-week assignment. This 36-hour weekly travel position features 12-hour rotating shifts in the Progressive Care Unit.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and is comfortable with telemetry monitoring, IVs, and stepping down patients.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and IV therapy may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor monitored patients and respond to changes.
• Administer prescribed medications and document treatments.
• Operate and interpret telemetry and related equipment.
• Support a fast-paced PCU environment and collaborate with team.
