Job summary

TotalMed RN in San Antonio, TX seeks a PCU RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The role is 36 hours per week with 12-hour nights. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and必要 AC LS/BLS/ NIH certifications.

You will monitor patients in the progressive care unit, manage medications, and collaborate with the team in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities include stabilizing cardiac patients, reading monitors, and ensuring safe care transitions.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIH required; additional certifications may be needed before start.
• 1 year of relevant RN experience preferred for PCU travel assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor and interpret PCU patient vitals and equipment.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Collaborate with care team to implement treatment plans.
• Assist with procedures and patient safety in a fast-paced unit.
