Qualifications

• Current, active RN license; AZ licensure eligible.
• PCU, progressive care, step-down, or comparable acute care nursing experience.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification, as required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and care for PCU patients requiring progressive care.
• Monitor vitals, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with physicians and teams to develop care plans.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and ongoing care.
• Maintain infection prevention and patient safety standards.
