Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Greensboro, North Carolina. You will provide care for adult patients in a fast-paced PCU setting, using telemetry and central line care as needed.

The role requires 2 years of RN experience, active licensure, and ACLS/BLS certifications with NIHSS preferred. Expect 3x12h day shifts, and occasional floating to other Cone Health campuses, with vaccines required.

Qualifications

• 2 years RN experience required; Charge experience preferred.
• PCU/Stepdown experience advantageous.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required; exemptions may apply.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIHSS strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in PCU with 3x12h day shifts.
• Float as needed between Cone Health campuses.
• Adhere to infection prevention and safety protocols.

Shift: 12H DaysTotal Weekly Hours: 36Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSSTrauma Level:Facility Specific Job Notes:- **Experience**: 2 years required; Previous Charge Experience preferred; First-time travelers OK; PCU Ratios experience (1:5) required; EPIC experience required.- **Certifications**: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.- **Skills**: Cardiac Telemetry, Central line care/management, Heparin Protocols, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Dysrhythmia Interpretation/EKG test.- **Licensure**: Active license must be in hand at submission.- **Schedule**: 3x12s, Days, 7a-730p with weekend and holiday rotations, no call.- **Floating Requirement**: Required to float as needed between all Cone Health campuses.- **Additional Requirements**: COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, with Medical/Religious Exemptions Only; Third-party education verification required, with degrees from Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list not accepted; Compliance EKG exam required for all RNs (2 attempts allowed).
